If you are not able to join worship via your personal computer, you are welcome to join using your phone. Simply call this number… (253) 215 8782, follow the prompt to enter the Meeting ID: 669 927 281, and you will find yourself in our Zoom worship space.
- The virtual doors to our Zoom worship will open at 9:00am.
- From 9am to 9:30am, the worship space will be open for folks to gather and get settled in. Our worship service will begin at 9:30am.
- Holy Communion will be a part of our online worship, so we encourage everyone to prepare by putting together your own communion set from whatever you have handy in your kitchens and pantries. Be creative! For instance, the cup could be wine, juice, water, etc. The bread could be actual bread, a cracker, a tortilla, tortilla chip, etc. Please have these items nearby and handy when you join us online.

Special (virtual) Congregation Meeting
Sunday, April 5th, at 10:45am
Join us after virtual worship for a special virtual congregation meeting. The primary purpose of the meeting is for congregation members to vote on a proposed revision to the scope of authorization granted to the Church Council at our June 2019 Annual Meeting regarding the terms of the sale of our building. A full letter with all the details was mailed on Tuesday early afternoon. You may have not received it yet - here is a PDF of the letter.

Virtual Coffee Hour

Several people have mentioned they miss coffee hour after church. So we are offering an opportunity for you to visit on Zoom every Wednesday until the social distancing rule is lifted.
The meeting room will be open from 10-12 on Wednesdays. If you’d like to meet in a private room with your friends, just send Violet a chat message when you are in zoom.
She will be using the raised hand method of calling on people, and she may ask you to update us on how you are keeping busy.

Write a note to healthcare workers in our community
Here's an easy way to help today: send a note of encouragement or thanks to healthcare providers working on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic. In Hillsboro, Forest Grove, Cornelius, and everywhere, it's all hands on deck for healthcare providers during a scary and uncertain time. A small and heartfelt gesture from one person to another is one big way to make an impact today.
Thanks to community partner AnchorPointe Graphics, your note will be printed on a beautiful card and delivered to a provider in our community.

Since we can't pass our offering basket during virtual worship, we encourage you to automate your giving. Electronic giving also offers an easy way to give on a recurring basis.
Go to https://app.easytithe.com/App/Giving/comchristchurch and select the check box ‘Make this gift recurring’. You will then be walked through the steps for setting up an account with Easy Tithe. |

Faithful Quilters meeting THIS Saturday
The Faithful Quilters will hold their Saturday, March 28th, 10am meeting at Violet Thetford's home. This gathering is under 10 people. It will also be contact-free (no hugs, shaking hands, etc). If you would like to attend please email Violet.
Violet is up and running with Zoom video calls. This way everyone can join in with group discussions on all manner of topics. It’s a great way to stay in touch with some of your church family, from the safety of your own home.

Baby Care Kits Updates:
The May Ingathering - where area churches bring their offerings for baby care kits, plus other items some congregations collect- has been postponed until October. If you have items for the kits please hold onto them. When we are able to gather again we will collect items and keep up the collection through early fall.
Even with the date for the kits getting pushed far back we still need to make those baby kits for families in need, so we are gathering names of people who would be willing to do some sewing for others in this trying time.
If you would like to help please email Violet. Feel free to ask people in your friend's circle that are staying home and looking for projects.
